So i have looked for the mayan city for hours around villa hermosa and have come to the conclusion my game is bugged.

here is the treasure map of the city:

Here is captain's reef:

which is here on the game map:

http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=495005

This was my best guess as to its position but when i land there there are no landmarks and thus not it. I searched everywhere on the coastline from almost to puerto bello to villa hermosa and even west of it! (it's possible i missed some spots because i was landing at intervals).

If you guys know what the deal is I would appreciate any help you can give.

Hey narukthul,
I don't think your game is bugged. From the look of the treasure map, that little bit of water with Captain's reef looks like the small inland lake down in the SW corner of the Bay of Honduras. There are sometimes more than one location of landmarks with the same name. Try looking in this area, a favorite spot for Lost Cities.

One other thing you must remember; the same name (for a coastal landmark) can show up more than once. You had at least two Captain's Reefs in the Caribbean that game; there might well be another one (or two), multiple Shark Rocks, etc.
