A cursory review of the comments of Francophiles shows the reason why the majority of you favor the French:

Aye, ye never bedded a french woman before, have ye? 'Course, ye don't need beds with the french, the mysterious man's table in the tavern works just as well for them lasses.

If we're going by "beautiful daughters" as the draw to a specific nation...
I'll still go with the Dutch. 
But then again, I'm partial to blondes. 
I actually like redheads the best, but none of the beautiful governors daughters are red heads! 
Maybe that's why I spend so much time in taverns... 
You find the occaissional red head there!

Not entirely true, I once got with a gorgeous British daughter with red hair. That is unless you are referring to Dutch daughters as opposed to daughters in general.

Hmm...
I'll have to keep my eyes open then for a beautiful red head British daughter. 
I have not run into her yet but you can be sure if I do she'll be my wife before the end of the game!
I suppose I could mod one easily enough, but if there's one out there a'ready...
Sometimes the excitement is in the hunt!!

It certainly is. And with the one I found, she had a bust like a pair of unopened treasure chests buried halfway in the sand. And her dress was the sand.

I've never been graced with that daughters presence!!
Believe me, I'd've noticed her.
I'm going to have to go through my files, find her and make sure she's the beautiful gov's daughter of choice in my games!!
Now that I think of it, I seem to recall thinking, "Why haven't I ever seen this daughter?" when I read that thread, but it didn't stay with me.
Well, I've got some searching to do when I get home tonight...

I, however, was looking at the one on the right.
I've always had the one on the left, who doesn't look that strawberry blonde on my home computer for some reason. She just looks blonde.
The English daughter on the right I have never seen except for on here.
I don't know why, but she doesn't seem to show up on my home 'puter.
That's just a crime.
I'll have to go to all the English ports in my game and see if I've just not noticed her. Don't know how I could have missed her though...
Unless, like the other daugther, her hair color is slightly different on the home front.

You might want to check your custom folder to make sure you haven't inadvertantly replaced her with a mod . . . |

Well I have come across both of them, but I married the strawberry head. She looked a lot like a redhead to me, but the one on the right looked like a redhead for sure.
