I was born in Iowa in 1907 and graduated High School in 1925, President of my Class.
I had a football scholarship to USC but got hurt so they took my scholarship away and I left school. I started working for the Film Studios to get some work and eventually they made me an actor. I was in lots of "B" movies for 9 years and became the star of these low-end movies. Then, in 1939 I had my first break and was made a star in the top movies.
I was a leading star for 40 years, won an Academy Award and passed away in 1979.
Who am I? |
John Wayne? |

What is the name of the trail the cowboys drove cattle from Texas to Abeline, Kansas back in the 1870’s? |

There were several trails. Was it the Goodnight-Loving Trail?
No, that is not a joke; there really was a cattle trail by that name. |

I've heard of that trail too. I'm thinking it might be the Chisholm or some name similar to that trail. There is a cowboy song about it. |
