We spent our second day in Venice today. Had a great Visit to the Dode’s Palace, where we saw an awesome collection of swords, armor and other weapons. Also saw incredible paintings and walked across the Bridge of Sighs.

Yesterday the weather kicked our butts with the highest floods in over 10 years. We bought rubber boots but the museums were closed so we quit early. One more day in Venice tomorrow.

We just had that one as a trivia question last week on board the ship and I forgot it! It was a One-Hit Wonder person.

Our last day in Venice went great.
Saw the Correr Museum, the Archeology Museum. St. Marks Basilica, the awesome Maritime Museum and rode the Vapparetto down the Grand Canal twice. No more flooding.

This morning we pulled into Sibenik, Croatia but the wind is so strong we are having to turn around and sail back into the ADRIATIC sea and proceed to our next stop of Kotor, Montenegro.

I seem to remember it was Bobby 'Boris" Pucket, or something like that.

The Beach Boys did a cover of the song on their 'Beach Boys Concert' LP back in 1964.

Pickett, actually, but you're close enough.

One day he was messing around with his Boris Karloff impression, and everyone liked it, so he wrote a song that featured it (thus the "Boris" nickname in the credit).

Great day in Kotor, Montenegro yesterday and today we were in Corfu, Greece. We visited the Achillion Palace of “Sissy”,, the Empress of the Austria Hungary Empire. Had a great time driving around the island, eating olives, feta cheese and fresh bread. Good stuff! We spend a day at sea tomorrow and th visit the island of Rhodes.

In the song Monster Mash, the singer mentions the name of a fictitious vocal group. What is the name of the group?
Wait 24 hours before doing a search.

Was it Wolfman and his Baying Hounds?

We are at sea off the southern coast of Mainland Greece, en route to the island of Rhodes.

Sorry, that is incorrect.

The specific verse begins with

"The scene was rockin', all were digging the sounds
Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds
The coffin-bangers were about to arrive
With their vocal group, ................."

Feel free to search.

Welcome from the Greek island of Rhodes! The capitalist a walled city. I can see where the Colussus of Rhodes probably stood. It was a 110 foot tall statue to Helios the Sun God. The ships did NOY sail under it, there would have not bee room for a tall mast under the statue.

It only stood for about 54 years before an earthquake took it down and it lay there for 900 years before being sold for scrap.
