You will like this question!
One of the most popular items on the dinner menu is the Cesar Salad.
This salad was invented by a Chef named Cesar Gardini back in the 1920's.
Question: Where did Cesar invent and first serve his famous salad? |

Too late to be the Titanic.
I'm going to go with a culinary city somewhere between the lettuce farms and the anchovy waters. San Francisco? |

Actually, I wouldn't have guessed Tijuana
Hors d'oeuvre
Multicourse meal
Place of origin
Mexico
Region or state
Tijuana
Created by
Caesar Cardini
Invented
1924
Serving temperature
Chilled or room temperature
Main ingredients
Romaine lettuce, croutons, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, anchovies, Dijon mustard, black pepper
Apparently the original had Worcestershire sauce, not anchovies.
*******
The Cobb Salad was similarly born of kitchen scarcity, according to legend, but there are various legends. They all agree on the restaurant.
What was the name of the famous restaurant, or the city, which invented the Cobb salad? |

Well done Rusty! I was amazed when I heard it was developed in Tijuana! Caesar owned a restaraunt in San Diego but was not doing well enough because of Prohibition, so he opened another restaraunt in Tijuana and that is where he invented this salad. Your turn..... |

She's correct! The Brown Derby in Hollywood, CA. I also would have accepted Los Angeles.

The Brown Derby was shown near the end of a Disney cartoon. What was the cartoon? |
