I was reading on Wikipedia about SMP. It mentioned that there was a NES version available. I remembered there was a NES emulator for iPhone and iPod touch.

So I installed it. Got the rom of the NES version of SMP and got it working.

Used my iPod touch to take pictures of the game. Emailed the pictures to my self. Uploaded em to photobucket.

Result:

Nes Emulator:

I name myself Llama

Fight begins:

Victory!

Now in Port Royale

Visit to the Governor

The tavern

Signing up the crew.

Yay! Information

Purchasing some food.

Out to Sea

The watch boy sees something

A ship!

A Pirates Ship!

Ship to ship battle

Boarding

Using my Trusty Cutlass

Moving in

Ye are no match for ze Llama!

Ship is mine!

Holding him for ransom

Goods!

Yarr! Fresh meat

Off to Sea

How do you like it so far?

The game ran perfectly fine. Controls took time to get used to. The only real problem was that the controls ate almost half of the screen.

That brought back memories - as It is very Similar looking to the first version that I played on the C64.

In the C64 - use the Joystick - and time your hits.

If I recall - you could fight even if vastly outnumbered - as it was more skill based.

Cannot truelly recall - a lot of sand has blown past since those days.
