Whoa. What kind of card would you recommend? I don't know the specifications of my Power Supply, but I suppose it's a good one since the computer was relatively new...

Not a guru.
However my main machine had a 150 watt ps!!
Just enough power for its old config.
Was able to prove that the card was not the culprit because had an older machine that also used the same kind of vid card.
It had a 250 watt PS. No problem.
Had to hunt down a new PS to fix the machine.
Problem: cramped case, very short ps. |

Sorry Headrock.. as stated in your post I just couldn't with good conscious leave that to just be readily seen on our sight. so, on my quest to get a ridiculous bounty i noticed that Holand was at war with Spain. seeing as how the entire carribean is Spanish at the moment save for 3 cities, i went to Santiago (the wife's town) to see what i would get for land. almost 15k at once. has anyone else gotten a larger grant than that at once?
3 days- Spanish Bounty of over 300,000. and the night is young

The answer is yes. I got upwards of 15500. I was playing my "SOLs in 1600" career (you can look for the topic with the same name) - I conquered EVERYTHING for the English, and they were at war with the french for a very long part of that. Eventually I reconquered a city to France, right near the end of the career. The governor was quite generous
