Yarr, fellow buccaneers!
Have anybody played this game (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag)?
Can you recommend it; specially for the PS3? |

I have played it and I love it! I highly recommend it, just go into it knowing that while Assassin's Creed used to be known for its attention to historical detail, that factor got assassinated along the way. This game ain't accurate; but it will blow your FOOPing mind!
I have also said I would love to see some of the game mechanics from this game combined with some SMP game mechanics in one AWESOME pirate game. _________________ The Code is the Law. |

im playing this now, im behind on the ac series but going to work on catching up over the next few months maybe, that's a lot of playing ac lol.
the pirate aspects are ok, but I don't get that feel I get from SMP. id love to see an actual pirating game with some of this stuff but like smp, and the whole Caribbean like in smp.
I really just want a new smp, just like smp but updated lol. |

Most of us have families; we might not game as much as we did before then, but we still play. |

I've had it on my Steam for a long time now, but haven't had time to play. I'll definitely try to find some soon! _________________ It is much better to be armed with a sword that has two edges than with an estoc [...], which is nothing more than a stick with a point. Since writing the above, I've played a few hours of Assassins' Creed and I've liked it! The sailing is fun and the battles quick and furious. I don't much care for the "present day" parts, though, and don't much care where that story line is leading. Happily, they haven't been a big part of the game at least thus far (only one interruption from the pirating storyline). _________________ It is much better to be armed with a sword that has two edges than with an estoc [...], which is nothing more than a stick with a point. Glad you found a new game. It’s is obvious nobody is beating the door down to play the oldies anymore. |

Finished the story this weekend and I must say I'm impressed. A great growth story for the protagonist!
I was also amused by some of the similarities with Pirates!, such as the fights in taverns and the hints that the barkeep gave for a bit of cash... and, of course, the treasure hunts.
No dancing, though. _________________ It is much better to be armed with a sword that has two edges than with an estoc [...], which is nothing more than a stick with a point. (Rapier Master G. Morsicato Pallavicini, La Scherma Illustrata, p. 14.) |

No dancing? Are there any women at all. Barmaids, Wenchs, etc that you can interact with. |

I do not think so. Not the same way you can in SMP. _________________ The Code is the Law. |

I watched someone play it. It's a strong Assassin's Creed game, but the later Assassin's Creed games tend to be lighter on the story.
Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry was quite intense. |

Is Assassin's Creed Rogue worth playing? |
