The Blue Max addon patch for HASP
http://www.hellsangels.firstflare.com/add_ons.htm
This patch is a fun, totally fictitious patch that will turn Red Baron3d into the 1966 Hollywood epic movie of the same title. It's based on 'Jasta 23b BM' and allows you to fly with Bruno Stachel, Willi von Klugerman and Otto Heidemann. It contains skins, aces, aircraft allocation that best match the movie and story line as close as Red Baron 3D would let me take it.
Also included are 6 single missions that will take you through some of the more famous scenes from the movie. Please refer to the readme file for more info.

As far as I can recall,
The Sold-out Software RB2 3D Blue CD Disk budget retail release had issues
back in the day with Windows XP.
One of the early bugs in Windows XP was an initial inability to read
Mastered CD Disks.
(Retail Games or software with a failure to install
as the Disk Content files not recognised by the OS).
This was all down to Microsoft breaking or not including things,
and eventually fixed in a later Windows XP Service Pack.
However some Games like Sold-out software RB2 3D,
they weren't going to re-master the Disk again (not a disk problem),
so they simply marked it on the packaging as not
Windows XP compatible and put it out on sale as is.
There was an eventual RB2 3D I think no-sound fix for Windows XP,
but the XP Service pack resolved the fail to install issues
for a host of Game disks at the time. (around 2001-2).
Game compatability markings for that era can be more
down to XP Microsoft failures, than actual game incompatabilities.
Worth trying the game regardless of the packaging info.
Windows XP SP1 is the absolute minimum Service pack for gaming
and SP3 or unoffical SP4 recommended.

Appears to be a Windows PC version
running under Wine on a Mac.
This information could well pre-date MacOS Catalina 10.15
which removed 32-bit support.

Wine currently won't work on macOS Catalina 10.15
(macOS 10.8 through 10.14 only)
The above repository link should also be of interest to

General RB3D recommendation
Get your bare game working first -
Official Sierra patches and Glide Wrapper
or GOG/Steam game version
before attempting to install any further unoffical patches.
see this thread for install location suggestions
General recommendation for Installing Games for Win 7,8,10
http://www.hookedonpirates.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7911
Once you have the game working,
Archive a copy of the Game folder
Suggest zip the contents and also stash a copy of the game folder
somewhere. (An additional USB memory stick copy may also be useful).
When installing any of the unoffical patches
use a copy of the working game folder,
Use a Desktop shortcut that has patch name included
to give you some game version context
Need to be careful with what patches and in what order you install
them, as some may not play well with other patches.
Important you read the patch documentation.
Be Systematic, make only one change at a time and test,
and only then move onto the next item.
Try to give yourself a roll-back option at all times.
When you have got it patched and working, another archive recommended.

The Red Baron (2008 film)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Red_Baron_(2008_film)
The Red Baron (also known by its original German title, Der rote Baron) is a 2008 German-British biographical action war film written and directed by Nikolai Müllerschön about the World War I fighter pilot Manfred von Richthofen, known as the "Red Baron". The film stars Matthias Schweighöfer, Joseph Fiennes, Til Schweiger and Lena Headey. The Red Baron was filmed entirely in English to improve its international commercial viability.

Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen, better known as the “Red Baron†was a fighter pilot with the German Air Service and was considered the ace-of-aces during World War I with 80 confirmed allied kills to his name.
Originally a cavalryman, Richthofen transferred to the Air Service in 1915, became a member of Jagdstaffel 2 in 1916, and subsequently earned himself the Pour le Mérite (Blue Max) in January of 1917 after his 16th confirmed air combat kill, the highest military honor in Germany at the time. That same month, he assumed command of Jagdstaffel 11 where he first painted his plane red becoming known among the Germans as Der Rote Kampfflieger (The Red Fighter Pilot). This led to the rest of his squadron also painting their planes some variation of red and eventually other Jagdstaffels adopted their own unique squadron colors.
Richthofen led his new squadron to unparalleled success, peaking during “Bloody April†1917 where he shot down 22 British aircraft, including 4 in a single day, and by the end of the month the British had lost 245 aircraft compared to the 66 German losses. In June Richthofen became the commander of Jagdgeschwader 1 the newly formed larger fighter wing comprised of Jagdstaffels 4, 6, 10, and 11, which would become widely known as “The Flying Circus†due to the wing’s brightly colored aircraft and mobility.
On the 21st of April 1918, at the age of 25, in the skies over Morlancourt Ridge, Richthofen was fatally struck by a single British .303 round in the right side of his torso and through his heart while saving his cousin Lt. Wolfram von Richthofen from pursuing Canadian pilot Lieutenant Wilfrid "Wop" May, and in the last seconds of his life successfully managed to land his plane in a nearby field before succumbing to his wound.
Fight on and fly on to the last drop of blood and the last drop of fuel, to the last beat of the heart. - Manfred von Richthofen
