Only if u install them. I recommend downloading the current version of the game , Everything u need except the peanut butter and Jelly sandwich should be inside. Those are probably older files developed during the beta stages. |

Theyre all from september 2020.
Do you think i should overwrite and see what happens? It couldnt hurt
Thats very interesting, all my maps in the mod instalation are dated from 2020 as well, except for a 2021 of the butler map
I just redownloaded the mod and theyre also dated 2020 and 2021 for the butler map
Oh yeah, i think we've found the problem, girls is there a newer version of these 4 maps? |

Not sure if it was a fix, an add-on, or what. Don't think it's mine. I've been playing with the version in the OP on windowed mode and it's running fine, although I wasn't as deep into the game as you when you started getting crashes |

I save often, thanks for the help. I tried downloading pirates of the east indies from the nexus site, i don't have a profile and im too stubborn to create one. Just checking if their maps have the same date as mine |

I understand that, but mishaps happen. Ive been modding Civilization 4 or europa universalis 2 back in the day and forgot to do things in the world builder and have to upload a new version to correct it. Same thing as PC gaming companies putting out patches. We all human, people make errors |

themodelcitizen, would you mind finishing out a game for this mod? Its so much fun until i get a CTD, i don't know if i love it for its flaws or are agonized that itll start crashing mid game. All it's imperfections are just perfect for me but i still would like to finish a game

Now I know your not going to like what I have to say but here goes. I've been playing around with the East Indies both the version I've been doing plus the one the Modal Citizen released and haven't yet experienced a crash from either. Yes people makes mistakes but here is the thing. The mod has been played on YouTube and it didn't crash. It's been downloaded by many people but why hasn't anybody spoken up about crashes. I think everybody has made great suggestions and tried to help you but it didn't work. If I saw errors in the mod i would point them out. I don't care if they like it or not if it is flawed I'd say you suck. Game crashes are caused by many things. That doesn't mean the game itself is the culprit. |

using say Phalzyr - Sid Meiers Pirates! PHTrainer v3.20
with the mod (run as administrator) - max out
the personal stats & items etc, then save the game
ought to get you close to a game "finish"

thanks guys i guess ill have to accept it. Im out of ideas myself! So far into the game, its going to be along time until i try this again, perhaps with a new laptop in the next 6 months because i have other games with sketchy graphics or take 5 minutes to start up and other annoying issues |
