Mage Knight: Apocalypse (2006)

Mage Knight: Apocalypse is an action role-playing game based on the world of the WizKids' tabletop game Mage Knight. Players take on a role of one of the five warriors who have been called by the Solonavi spirit masters to root out all evil in a magical world known as simply The Land. The five heroes eventually join forces, but the player can only actively control the character chosen in the beginning. The gameplay is heavily action-oriented, similarly to Dungeon Siege games. Multiplayer is included along with the single-player campaign.

The playing style varies depending on the character chosen by the player. The game's protagonists are:

Janos Freeborn, a dwarf gunner, a former slave of the Atlantean magestone mines who fights with melee weapons, firearms, and explosives;

Kithana is a vampiress from the destroyed House of Uhlrik, who also specializes in necromancy and assassination;

Chela is an amazon huntress whose fighting style is modeled after animals: melee-oriented bear, eagle-style ranged attacks, and counter-based, evasive jaguar;

Sarus is a draconum mage with a bad childhood, able to cast earth, fire and wind spells;

finally, Tal Windstrider is an elven paladin and a rounded-up character; proficient in melee, ranged attacks and healing.

Game didn't score that well in reviews, but you may find it enjoyable
for a Budget game

Sadly the intended expansion with more of the vampiress back story
was cut and never developed possibly due to poor sales.

There were a number nudepatches available for the game
back in the day, but don't seem to be available now,
as none currently on the sites checked.

There are two nude skins (nude female vampire and nude Amazon) that I made for Mage Knight Apocalypse at wolflore.net (registration required to download nude skins). The files were uploaded there by 'donkey'

I had the game, sold my copy, realized I'd made a mistake and re-purchased it.

I haven't played it in a long time, but I remember enjoying it. I never played the full game as the dragon or dwarf; I always played as either the Amazon or vampire.

If somebody wants those mods let me know.

I played MageKnight back in the day. It was the first tabletop game with collectible figures with clickable bases. My friends and I were obsessed for a while, and we enjoyed the game. Unfortunately, the makers of the game didn't understand what they had or what the players wanted. They marketed it like a collectible card game, always pushing new figures. Unlike cards, however, 3D figures take up space. After players had filled all the free space in our homes with figures, we didn't want to buy more. Rather, we wanted supplemental materials - e.g., scenarios or campaign rules - to play with the figures we had. The game makers never caught on, so the game faded as quickly as it arose. I still have hundreds of old figures, which mostly survived my apartment fire.

I'd forgotten that the computer game was preceded by a tabletop game.

WizKids and Mage Knight Board Game
https://wizkids.com/mage-knight/

Mage Knight: Apocalypse (2006) gameplay was solid as based
on the board game. Implementation could have been so much better.

It suffered the usual problems with a movie/TV/game Tie-in.
Overpayed for the IP license, so the game gets a rushed release
as needs more time or resources, so doesn't do well
with poor game review articles.
By the time fix patches appear the buying public has moved
onto the next big release game.
