I tested the game using my exe file and your custom folder, and the game opened successfully.
I made a stupid mistake when I first tried to use your assets folder. Instead of adding the mods folder to my assets folder I renamed my assets folder and used yours instead (dumb move, I should have added the contents of your assets folder to mine).
Anyway, I then tested using your exe file, your assets folder (correctly loaded), and your custom folder. The game opened and I played some. The new city names and nationalities and the revised background scenes worked. I have not yet tested the ballroom scenes or visited a governor.

Sorry I know how to install everything by instinct and I thought most everyone here did. I was thinking it was the executable. Can’t mod anything now family hunted me down. I must be handsome to get away with all the shit and everyone still after me. |

should be a sight to behold
you were probably thinking of your Custom Folder -
clear existing mod content and drop in the new mod content
and confused it with the Assets Folder where
original game release content does always need to be retained
as you found out.

The only way we could have picked up what you did was either by
Any posted description of what folders you copied content too,
or say Folder content screenshots or Directory Listing Report

This is an old Directory Listing (freeware) utility, still tend to use

has a few issues now due to windows changes over time from XP
Cannot save reports to root of C:\drive with a modern Windows OS,
need to save now to a folder
doesn't support APPDATA Folder redirection
best installed to its own folder and not to Program Files
Here is an alternate (freeware) Directory Listing tool
a google search on say Directory Listing tools
should give some alternate hits

Yeah I didn’t include the entire game just the mod. I didn’t add any instructions either. I made it assuming everyone new what they were doing. If you backed up the exe and customs and didn’t have other mods installed it would be easy just copy and past the pirates folder and everything would fell in place because when you overwrite folders it doesn’t take out the stuff I already had but it does overwrite stuff you do have. |

It’s a interesting game without the nudity I think. I just added it since that’s what people wanted. Nurses in the Philippines travel out of country so I’m keeping that in mind. |

Thanks for permission to do that. Since you say you won't be ,modding for a while, I'll have to figure of what files to keep in the mod to just play the revised map. Removing all of the other mods should significantly reduce the compressed size. |

I forgot to mention the slower aging patch is in the exe. If a new mod is released based off of this mod especially if it takes out the naughty stuff then it probably would be a good idea to copy the city files from the exe. and make a new one because there is naught talk also. I mean either that or fix the talk in the exe. That would take me longer than replacing all the cities so it’s easier that way. Easy way to find the cities would be looking for the location points of Antigua or the fist city that was listed in the original game. That stays the same but the rest of the city has changed. |
