It’s gonna take awhile. Basically redoing everything. Ship names partly done and text ini. Keeping the same executable with cities arranged same way as last mod location wise. Only difference from the Salty Sea mod is I used some cities from the Caribbean and some from the East Indies instead of using all East Indies. Should be one of the better mods out there when completed as I’m gonna redo all the ship captains of the Dutch as well as the captain of the guard who tends to bother the barmaid often. These will all become pirates through nif and kfm work. All the daughters are beautiful and haven’t seen any flaws with what little I’ve danced with them. The male dancers use the pc player nif using Captain Reddes pirate uniforms. I picked out 4 uniforms from pack and replaced all the male dancers textures and all seems working spot on and likewise the female dancers are beautiful daughters and seem spit on. Ship names will be basically heavily based on actual ships that was used back in those time frames. Not much available on merchant ships names at that time so like with the English I choose some interesting names that in all likelihood never sailed at the time but still I think most people will like their new names.

French merchants I renamed those by looking at names with translations so I think I did a decent job with those not sure I’m gonna do the Spanish or French pirates as it would take a good bit of translation to find good names. I’ll use different names for the English pirates than those used in the game which is the same as the pirates. Don’t want to many Queen Ann’s Revenge’s floating out there The Dutch is where it’s gonna get creative as I don’t want copy and paste the pirates ships here but rather create new ones that sound authentic. I mean there are ships like the Whydah that wasn’t used in the game but it’s one of the greatest pirate ships of it’s day which was found a few years back in the area it sank at from a storm . Jewels and everything is in a museum now. The pirates I’ll probably leave that alone for the most part. It would be a total waste of time renaming pirate merchants when they actually don’t use merchants. How many times have you sank a pirate merchant ship named Plovers egg. Likewise I don’t think the pirate pirates are used either as these are the smugglers ships for the French British and Dutch but the pirates it’s just a waste since the only thing they draw from is the warship section. Indians are not listed in the ships list and they draw their names from the Spanish which is a bummer but it is what it is.

I looked at the Spanish ship names. I thought they were good, and decided not to look at the others, assuming they were also good.

Greetings from California. I just want everyone to know I’m working as hard as I can on trying to get out a halfway decent pirate mod as soon as possible. Saturday I’m off to Hawaii and won’t be back until next Saturday so obviously I’m not gonna be working on anything during that time frame but I’ll certainly check in here sometimes in case someone wants to leave me any donations or presents. Just teasing but all jokes aside I think I’ve got a decent mod going here and I’ll get back on it once I get in a hula dance or two I should be ready to give my mod my full attention. Thanks! I redid most everything name wise including the cities locations and ships. I redid some of the cities in the excutable and fixed the appointing another governor bug which was my fault but it’s corrected. Did have a nice woman in a bikini laying on the beach on the pirateinfo screen which is the screen with the map and a pirate dancing out from it. She is gone now it’s a potc look screen. Gonna get rid of the African ballroom and make it a traditional English ballroom with paintings of Nelson and other important British dudes or gals at the time. Got any good paintings in mind point em out at your convenience. Likewise the Spanish and French will have a country theme ballroom. Might change the pirates to actual paintings but the wallpaper and most everything else should be okay. Not gonna do a lot of decorating the lawns of mayors villages with bikini clad women or nudity just make it plain and simple. If I add anything it will look like it could actually belong there. No plans on changing the Dutch orange color as that helps separate the non brethren pirates. Will change the ship crew and captains for the Dutch into Cutthroats. Probably use some of the top ten for the military captains and the non top ten pirates textures for the merchant ships. Anyway what I’m doing is something I’m not aware that’s ever been done before and I think y’all will enjoy the finished project if you’ll give it a try.

Was a headache getting here all the things we were required to do before coming here without quarantining wasn’t no fun and just barley got our COVID test results back in time to upload in the Hawaii gov website. Hot here more humid one big tourist trap but damn you gotta see some of these half naked women at the beaches here. Makes it all worthwhile coming.

Doing okay, playing Pirates using one of my modded maps (moved Gibraltar from Lake Maracaibo to the general area of Tampa, Florida). Be sure to use sunscreen and don't get eye-strain from staring at bikini clad women.

Just make myself clear I like to tease and yes I’m mean but also thankful to all the friends I have here. Corsair does a lot for us and is a very talented individual and Fleetp does a good job Captaining the ship. I’m a little worried about Salty not saying as much lately so hopefully he isn’t getting burned out as he is such a big part of us. Thanks to all of you and I’ll try getting this mod out as soon as possible. I want to do a decent job rather than just throw something out there. I’ve got a lot to do with my own life after this. Not really happy here so got a lot ahead of me but I certainly want to do a good job on this mod.
