Historically accurate Caribbean flags

Yes, the Spanish/Castile y Leon treaty flags in the screenshot in the OP have been included in a small update in the download link, along with some minor fixes to the French flags that looked unfinished in the original version. I've also added it as an option for the user to fly on their ship.

The Burgundy cross works great for ships and cities (I think St. Augustine still flies one at the fort IRL), and the default game uses it as the smaller Spanish sail emblem. If you prefer consistency across the board, you can keep those treaty flags.

I didn't realize there's an unused thin English flag already in the code, I think the update patch with all the hippy stuff included it as a variation. Would've saved me a bit of work, but I actually prefer my version of the English flag to it anyway

Could castle and lion be across the boards? It's a little reminder of my youth and the Pirates! gold days. I was hooked on that sucker at 13 and wasted my whole summer on the computer playing it.

yeah, I can probably work on that this weekend, some of the flags are already in the game and its just a matter of changing filenames. But others will just need a quick round in Photoshop. Good idea

I originally used the Castle flag in my last mod but for whatever reason I didn’t like it so I used your Spanish flags. There just doesn’t seem to be much interest in the game to make modding worth the while to me and there is always those who want this and that but they will never be pleased no matter what you do.. I started out for myself and that is the way I’ll keep it but at this point in life I’m not sure I’ll ever play the game again not because I don’t like it but because it does more harm then good. It’s easy to do something like modding SMP and kick life to the side but at the end of the day if I’m ever gonna get out of here alive I’d better do something other than mod so yeah it’s fun and yeah y’all are awesome but Abby has y’all beat on looks but oh hell I’m a mess trying to right the ship so hopefully I can.
