Cutthroats: Terror on the High Seas (1999)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cutthroats:_Terror_on_the_High_Seas

Cutthroats: Terror on the High Seas is a real time strategy game developed by Hothouse Creations and published by Eidos Interactive in 1999.

The game is set in the 17th century in the Caribbean and unlike most pirate games, it is mostly historically accurate.

Apparently abandonware as not currently on GOG
NoCD replacement executable may be required for Windows 10

This is a fix for Cutthroats: Terror on the High Seas for Windows 7, 8, and 10. This method removes the constant crashes from the game. DXWnd settings may need to be tweaked depending on your machine.

Once upon a time, there were the Cutthroat pirates, known as the Terror of the High Seas. They were feared by everyone who sailed the seven seas, and their reputation preceded them wherever they went. They were notorious for their ruthless tactics and their merciless treatment of those who crossed their path.

One day, the Cutthroat pirates decided to stop at the infamous Cutlass Isle, a small island known for its rough and rowdy inhabitants. They docked their ship, the Black Shark, and made their way to the Salty Dog tavern, the only place on the island where a pirate could get a decent drink.

The barmaid, a beautiful young woman by the name of Elizabeth, was serving drinks to a rowdy bunch of pirates when the Cutthroats walked in. They were a sight to behold, with their long black hair, rough beards, and menacing tattoos. Elizabeth tried to keep her cool, but she couldn't help but feel a shiver run down her spine at the sight of them.

As the pirates began to drink and carouse, they noticed the Governor's daughter, a stunning young woman by the name of Isabella, sitting at a nearby table. Isabella had been sent to the island by her father to get away from the city and enjoy a little peace and quiet. She was not prepared for the chaos that the Cutthroats would bring.

The pirates immediately took notice of Isabella and began to flirt with her relentlessly, much to her dismay. Isabella was not impressed with their rough and uncouth ways, and she did her best to ignore them. But the Cutthroats were persistent, and they wouldn't give up until they had her attention.

Meanwhile, the barmaid Elizabeth was struggling to keep up with the rowdy pirates. They were drinking heavily and getting rowdier by the minute. One of the pirates, a brute known as Big Red, began to make advances towards Elizabeth. She tried to fight him off, but he was too strong for her.

Just as Big Red was about to make his move, the leader of the Cutthroats, a man known as Blackbeard, intervened. Blackbeard was a fearsome pirate, known for his brutal tactics and his quick temper. He had no tolerance for any man who mistreated a woman, and he quickly put Big Red in his place.

Despite his rough exterior, Blackbeard had a soft spot for Elizabeth. He saw something in her that he had never seen before in a barmaid, and he soon found himself drawn to her. They talked for hours, and Blackbeard soon realized that Elizabeth was not like other women he had met before. There was something different about her, something that he couldn't quite put his finger on.

As the night wore on, the Cutthroats continued to drink and carouse. Isabella was struggling to resist their advances, while Elizabeth was caught in a dangerous game of love and loyalty. Blackbeard was torn between his loyalty to his crew and his growing feelings for Elizabeth.

In the end, the night ended in chaos. The Cutthroats got into a massive brawl with some local fishermen, and the Salty Dog was destroyed in the process. Isabella was finally able to make her escape, but not without a few bruises and scrapes. Elizabeth was torn between her loyalty to the bar and her growing feelings for Blackbeard.

As the Cutthroats made their way back to their ship, Blackbeard lingered behind. He turned to Elizabeth and took her hand. "Stay with me," he said, his voice soft and gentle. "Come with me on my ship. We can sail the seas together."

Elizabeth hesitated for a moment, but she knew that she couldn't resist him any longer. She took his hand and climbed aboard the Black Shark, ready for whatever adventures lay ahead.

And so, the Cutthroat pirates left Cutlass Isle behind, with a new member of their crew and a night they would never forget. The Terror of the High Seas sailed off into the night, ready for whatever mischief and mayhem lay ahead of them.

"Once upon a time, there were the Cutthroat pirates, known as the Terror of the High Seas."

This one is better than most of the others; I didn't see any logic flaws.

No bikinis ripping might be a flaw depending where your interest lies.

Question best asked in a specific PSP hardware or PSP Gaming fan Forum, try a google search

(Mods are intended mostly for the Windows PC Pirates! game version)

PSP games are normally sold as either small plastic "UMD" discs or as downloadable content

Reportedly a PSP requires an SD adaptor to use regular SD memory cards

To use mods, assuming PSP uses the same Pirates! file formats as the PC version and also supports using a Custom override folder

Most probably required cracked PSP firmware (voids PSP hardware warranty)
so PSP will recognise a Custom disc with mods included
or from a PSP memory stick?

Sony apparently never released a UMD disk burner
or ever retail sold blank UMD disks.
UMD appears to use a larger disk spindle hole size than a
DVD burner.

SD memory card appears the better option

PSP Modding most probably required cracked PSP firmware

or run PSP game on a PC with an emulator
(if you have a PC anyway, best use the Windows PC version game instead)

PPSSPP Free
https://www.ppsspp.org/

PSP emulator for PC or Android phone, open source project
requires PSP game in say ISO file format,
try a google search on say
game name psp iso file or similar

Emulators on PSP

PSP must have custom firmware to use these emulators

search on youtube as may have further PSP emulators info

DOSBox PSP
https://www.gamebrew.org/wiki/DOSBox_PSP

(apparently no PSP Dosbox-X which would be a better windows option)

Cutthroats Terror on the high seas is a windows 95 or 98 game,
which may prove to be troublesome on a PSP
so check emulator windows support if any
