The only man in the Eighth US Army Air Force to fly over 100
combat missions in Europe.

390th BG Jan 1944-45 3 tours, 104 combat sorties

When he asked to fly a third tour, rather than return to the US,
fellow airmen questioned his sanity,
"a man just didn't have that much luck".

“Buck” Dunn USAF died in 1961 at the age of 41
and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

He was a member of the 390th bomb group and flew 104 total combat missions over Europe for the 8th Air Force.
