Take advantage of high ground and especially cover, i cant say that enough. Because all you have are buccaneers that have muskets but the entire enemy does except for cavalry. Youll cut your hit points in half from a round of fire from the enemy if youre in the woods. And also, at youre first chance, knock the enemy cavalry down preferably in the woods, attempt at your offense then they should be fairly easy to defeat. And just remember your officers are your most important unit, keep them intact and even your pirates have one more hit point than the guards and certainly more then the infantry |
