|
|
Hello everyone!
I made a strange observation hunting down my last lost city.
A regular map is aligned North-South with north at the top of the map.
When I last night tried to find the lost city of the Incas the map hint stated:
"Search South of Campeche". I therefore traveled to Campeche, set a landing party ashore, and walked due south from Campeche. After a couple om months in game time I recognized some of the treasure landmarks on the map. The funny thing was that my landing party arrived att the bottom of the treasure map. I.e. according to the treasure map I've been walking to the north. Therefore, in this case, the treasure map is aligned South-North, with south on the top of the map.
Anyone else noticed something similar? Or am I just beeing crazy... _________________ A bottle of rum... |

The maps are not aligned North-top South-bottom. At first i made the same mistake, thinking i should walk north of a landmark since the map showed that the city was "above" it... but i got lost. Just follow the landmarks and the general direction stated (south of Campeche, etc) |

I guess its like if youre holding the treasuremap in front you when you walk around hunting for treasure.. _________________ A bottle of rum... |
